I got this little deal from Ameican Musical Supply (www.amercanmusical.com, check it out) for about $200.00 and free shipping. This was about a year and 4 months ago and now it costs like $150.00! I had been checking out other 50-65 watt amps like the, a Crate 65 watt, and a Rouge, NEVER BUY A ROUGE,stuff like that. The only difference was the price, there was a 100+ dollar difference! I like the effects and how much you can change each one's parameters, not to mention the effects are of pretty high quality for this price range. It also has a crisp clean channel that stays clean even at high levels (6 or above), which is because of the great Jensen 10'ers.

I also like having the versatility with all of the I/O in the back. You can hook up a tape player/recorder and lay down some rhythm and play lead to it!

Manual

It seems to be fairly well built too! I absolutley hate the overdrive channel, i need thick, heavy distortion for jam sessions and i still have to use my to get it! But I can live with it! I also got tired of lugging the thing (probably 40-50 lbs) to practice all the time, so I got some cheap casters and put them on it. Now it is effortless moving it around (and fun too!).

The other thing I don't like is the knobs stick out to far from the edge of the amp itself, so after a year of practicing and moving it around i lost one of the effect parameter knobs! But it still works fine! It seems to be well built. I haven't dropped it off my deck or anyhting, but i can sit on it and play and it has got knocked over once or twice at insane practices. It only has a few dents and scratches, but that makes it look more like a well-used amp!

The overall construction is very well built for this price range! If I had to go back and choose again between those 3 amps, I'd still pick this one. Not just for the price, but the durability, but for the look too. It looks like one of those Vintage Fender's that sell for 700 bucks! If you are a begginer or the next Steve Vai, this amp is definitley worth every penney. Sure, you can't play at an arena in front of 10000 people, but for practice, this make perfect! I bought this unit from Palen Music in Columbia, Missouri. Paid $199 for it new. I was looking for an amp that would cater to a medium volume classic rock band, and a 5 piece country act I also play in. This amp does everything I need. It has effects, amp modeling, morphing, tow channels, enough inputs and outputs to satisfy any possible combination of requirements. It took a little while to figure out how to program the various parameters on the amp, but spending a little time with it made me know it that much better.

It was plenty loud at my gig with my 5-piece band. No one could believe I only paid two hundred bucks for it. Also, it's not as heavy as a lot of other combo amps. The 2-10's sung loud and clear when called upon, and the mixing of the 'dirty' channel took a little time to get the sound I was looking for, but eventually I found the sound I needed. The only thing I can say about this amp I didn't like would be the ability to use more than one effect at a time. It has all these great sounds that would be nice to mix them up a bit. This isn't an amp you can just take home, plug in and start wailing.

You need to spend some quality time together locked in a room to get just the sound you need out of it. It is a very sophisticated piece of equipment. And that's really not a bad thing! The construction was tight and sturdy.

I would rely on this amp to perform well anywhere. I have seen amps going for twice as much as this one that don't even come close. I also heard they were discontinuing this amp. Probably because it is too much of a good value! If you get a chance to get one of these bad boys, do it! You cannot go wrong! This review was originally published on.

Got this from Musicians Friend for $199 because my present main amp was getting out of date ('84). Plus I was tired of lugging around a bunch of effects & this has them built in. I like most of the effects, although some are kinda cheesy. The reverb and chorus pretty much stay on all the time. To me, they are very realistic. The fact that it has Jensen speakers was appealing also, plus it sorta has that 'vintage' look to it like an old Fender. The clean channel has a nice warm sound SIMILAR to a tube amp but does not precisely nail it to a 'T'.

But it is pretty close. I have to agree with everyone else about the overdrive. It's not all that great but people if you would just read the description of the amp it says 'clean to MILDLY DISTORTED'. With that in mind, one cannot really expect it to do grunge or metal or any other high-gain sound. If you are looking for a gain machine, this is not it unless you plug in a stompbox or two. Seems tough & well built.

Most solid-state amps are pretty reliable so it should work for a long time. Two things on mine were goofed up from the factory when I got it. First, the line-in for the left channel didn't work unless I wiggled the jack back & forth.

Second, the right & left speakers were switched around & everything that was supposed to come through the left side actually came through the right and vise-versa. Mind you, these two things were minor & I didn't sent it back, I just fixed them myself. Otherwise, no problems. Overall, it's a great amp & for the money it cant be beat. Plenty of volume and real pretty clean tone. Best 'bang for the buck' that I've seen yet. This review was originally published on.

I bought this as my second amp from an A.M.S. Catalog for 200.00 or so bucks! (my first amp was 10 watts). Plus I wanted to start experimenting with new sounds and effects, and this was the definate way to go! What I like about this unit is that it was 200 bucks for 60 watts a pure power, cheap enough there, but with 30 or so effects each with 3 perameter dial-in knobs, it was instantly worth the money.

It also seems to be a pretty sturdy amp, having 2 10' speakers and all. It also looks pretty cool too, like a vintage Fender or something. It also has a MIDI in and quite a few I/O ports for just about everything. I don't like the crappy dirty or overdirve channel,it sounds like paper being wadded together. I have a 30 dollar distortion pedal that sounds 50 times better! Thats about the only thing that sucks about this great amp! It is made fairly well, but I've seen and used better combo amp like it (Marshall)and can see the difference. But for an ametuer player and a limited income it does the job more than better.

If you're like me and only 6 months into the guitar, this is an amp that will last you years to come. It is even big enough to be used in small gigs or clubs!

This review was originally published on. I bought this amp from American Music Supply on the internet for $200, $10 tax and shipping was free (ground delivery). I needed a higher watt amp for jamming and playing a church.

I have been looking at reviews on this site for a while which gave me a good idea on amp choices. For the price and what you get for it Behringer seemed the best choice. I saved about $150 from what I was going to buy which was a Fender Princeton DSP 65. For price I would give it a 5.

Musicians friend had it for the same price. I guess I was looking at the AMS catalog at the time of purchase. The clean channel is very crisp and clear. My fender sounds great through it. The many effects are neat too once you know how to adjust it to get your sound. I was surprised at the many different types of effects came with it and the sound that I got.

The middle for the EQ really seems to bring out what I lack in single coils. Even though I read all the other reviews on this amp I found out for myself what they were talking about; The drive channel is a waste. I use a DODFX7 guitar processor and a turbo tube screamer which provide plenty of overdrive and distortion but I like the change in tone that I get from each channel. When you swith onto the channel it sounds like a flanger reverb hi pitch weird sound.

Can't really be described. The morphing control only makes matters worse. The midboost only works on the drive channel so I just keep it on the clean channel. Also, the effects use is different than any amp I've ever tried or used. Instead of like 1-25 or 50-100 the changing knob is 1-63. Maybe it's a German thing.

I've moved this around twice and seems very well made and not as heavy as other twin amps. I've only had it for a week but all the knobs turn very well and the amp itself looks pretty cool. Many compliments from friends. The Jensen speakers do look exposed though in the back and the wires connected are not as covered as I thought they would be. For $200 it was definitely worth for someone like myself with a limited income But if you have the money I would definitely go for a Fender. Like I said earlier I wanted a Fender Princeton DSP amp but needed $150 more. The effects are pretty cool even though it's not top of the line.

If this amp had a seperate reverb control and a decent drive channel then it would be a top of the line amp. Still you save money and the clean channel is good so what can you say? I would recommend to Behringer to sell their amps in more stores like Guitar Center. I believe they would get more business. All in all, for $200 bucks nothing compares to it in it's price range.

This review was originally published on. I bought the amp new from Shreve audio. They where the only ones with it in stock and it was cheap, like $229.00 I think. It's very compact in size with only 2x10's. Great clean sounds and nice effects. Lots of I/O Options, this makes it versital in my studio. Would have been nice to have EQ on both channels.

It's only on ch 1. Not a very nice distored sound, kind of harsh not warm like a tube amp.

Seems to be built very well. I'm fan of many other products from this company, they seem to do things right and not 'Over Charge' for a name. Great little amp for some things. For the price and features it's hard to beat. This review was originally published on. I bought this from Musician's Friend for $199 with free shipping (great deal)in October '02.

This is a superb unit for the price. The built-in effects are worth half the price alone. It has 99 presets ranging from reverb to chorus, flanger, etc. The presets can also be edited by the user as-if the 99 factory settings weren't enough. It has a clean channel and a distortion channel. It also comes with a footswitch to go back and forth between those two channels and to toggle the effects on-and-off. 30 watts per amp x 2 = 60 watts into twin 10' Jensen speakers.

Gotta love it. Only feature I can find to quibble about is that there is a microsecond (but noticeable) delay when you toggle back-and-forth from clean to distortion channel. At $199, I feel like I'm asking for egg in my beer to even mention it, but that's it: The only thing even remotely wrong with it. I seriously doubt you can find a better amp for under $350.

Top notch: well made, looks good, sorta like a vintage Fender. For a practice / modeling amp or even gigs in a smallish room or club, can't possibly beat it for the price. Finish: all matrial are fairly well assembled, the pots are of good quality (very important for ), there are small diodes rather pretty, especially if you play ds dark. Manual: very poor but the catch is simple SOUNDS Attention should not be mprendre, this amp has nothing to do with a standard ampicillin (style marshall, fender, peavey), in fact, it has no gain knob knob but a 'morphing' that Styka changes the distortion in the saturated channel. Clean channel: its quite crunchy makes very well with a nice reverb type or concert hall!

Behringer

I o somewhat less than one hour non-stop on that channel so the sound is clear and b. Just for a, a worthwhile buy. By adding a small chorus, c the icing on the toad! Overdrive channel: setting trs little gain, there is a bit of a red hot chilli pepers californication ds when solo.

Behringer Gx212 Ultratwin Manual

If you push the machine has saturate a lot, c May not the strong point of the amp. He vo mieu have a multi with its saturated and pass on the clean channel.

Power: c tube amp so the power is multiplied by 2, so this amp is equivalent to a 60 watt transistors. We must not forget stro ke c amp, so the magnitude of the multiplier is. It is powerful enough to play in the studio and concerning style feast of music, ds the street. Multi-purpose (Intgr) c quite handy if you have a small budget, there are all the standard effects (chorus, flags, phaser, delay, reverb, autowah, etc). They are quite Ingala in quality, me, my preferences go to rverb and chorus + delay.

OVERALL OPINION Here Preska ke a year I own this amp and jen sui trs happy especially for its sounds clean, although I play metal in gnral. His report is qualitprix Ingala: 270 euros!

If you possdez a small budget, the amp rv sincrement.
